AhlulBayt News Agency - ISIS militants are reportedly preparing suicide bombers equipped with chemical weapons, said a Peshmerga commander.
Akram Mohammed, a commander of Kurdish Peshmerga forces, said that IS terrorists have previously attacked civilians with chemical weapons and regular suicide bombers, but they are now planning to combine these two tactics.
Mohammed explained that the terrorist group is now training teenage insurgents to carry out suicide bombings with chemical weapons, in hopes of causing more damage to Peshmerga and other forces.
IS has previously several times used chemical weapons against civilians, mainly in southern Kirkuk province.
In mid-March this year, the extremist group attacked Taza Khurmatu district with mustard gas where they killed several civilians and nearly 600 others were injured, some of whom were sent abroad for medical treatments due to their critical medical condition.
